Plenge said that he was proud to represent West Point at the ceremony. “To be one of the people somebody thought deserved this award is an honor,” Plenge said. At Badger Boys State, Plenge serves as the County Counselor of Sawyer County. He is also the Left to Right: Lt. Gen. Walter E. SAL Troop Deployment

MEMBERSHIP INCENTIVES ANNOUNCED
100% Posts Any Post that reaches 100% of their membership goal by December 31, 2019 will be entered into a drawing at Midwinter for a Legion Mint Proof Clad Half Dollar. The posts will be divided by the membership totals: • 1-100 members • 101-300 members • 300 + members District Incentive The first District Commander that reaches 100% of their District Goal (30 days before convention) will receive the Legion Mint Silver Dollar.
New Member Incentive Any member that signs up 5 new members (which includes any member not renewed before or as of 2018) will be entered into a drawing at Department Convention. There will be 5 winners: (2)-$1000 cash winners and (3) American Legion 100th Anniversary Commemorative Three-Coin Proof Set. The cut off is 30 days before convention. Must have names to Department no later than July 1st. If a member gets 10 new members he/ she will receive the Badger 10 pin and get 2 entries in the drawing. If a member gets 25 new members he/she will receive the Silver Brigade award and 5 entries into the drawing. If a member gets 50 new members he/she will receive the Gold Brigade and 10 entries into the drawing.
