2012 Milwaukee Veterans Day Parade
An Honor Guard from the Stenz-Griesell-Smith Post No. 449 accompanied Department Commander Wayne Jensen as he led a large contingent of Legionnaires who participated in the Milwaukee Veterans Day Parade held on November 10th.

2013 WWII Tours Scheduled For June & August
The ten WWII Veterans pictured above at General Patton’s grave were part of the forty participants on the August 2012 tour.
“EVERYONE IS WELCOME on our 2013 WWII tours,” states tour hostess Vi Ranney from Yankton, SD, who just escorted her 19th WWII tour this past August. Vi would love to take you along to Paris, the Beaches of Normandy, Patton’s grave in Luxembourg, through the Battle of the Bulge area in Belgium, into Germany for a stop at the Remagen Bridge, and enjoy a Rhine River cruise before visiting Dachau and Hitler’s Eagle’s Nest. June and August departures are slated for 2013.

VI RANNEY Tour Escort
The Milwaukee Firefighters Post No. 426 turned out in force for the Milwaukee Veterans Day Parade. As “First Responders” the Fire Department Ambulance led the Police Post No. 415 Paddy Wagon in the parade.
Over 70 Wisconsin American Legion Riders from multiple Districts were among the leading units in the Veterans Day Parade in Downtown Milwaukee. For information on the Legion Riders contact Kim Shanks at (608) 745-1090.
