ENHANCED COLOR

CAPTIVATE™ filters out confusing light where blue merges with green and green merges with red. This allows more "clear" lightwaves where it’s easier for your eyes to see, resulting in enhanced blues, greens and reds for a true color experience.

GREATER CLARITY

Blue light with shorter wavelengths and higher frequencies scatter light and create haze. By filtering out this “bad” blue light, CAPTIVATE™ removes the haze and allows distant objects to be seen more clearly.

OLEOPHOBIC PROPERTIES

Wiley X utilizes a proprietary oleophobic coating on all CAPTIVATE™ lenses to create a smoother lens surface, which helps to keep dust, dirt, oil, snow and water from sticking to the lens. This in turn helps prevent smudging and water spots, making the lenses much easier to clean than an uncoated, standard lens.

ANSI OPTICAL CLARITY

FILTER 8™ POLARIZED

Our proprietary Filter 8™ polarized lens technology filters light to reduce glare and block reflective light. It includes two Slick™ hydrophobic coatings, two Selenite™ polycarbonate lenses, two T-Shell™ scratch-resistant layers, one Violet 4™ anti-reflective coating, and a Filter 8™ polarized film layer that creates 100% polarization and gives you 100% UV protection.
