abo u t me l b ou r ne st r ee t Melbourne Street is a series of evocative noir & live colour scenes that capture the understated essence of Melbourne city. The streets, the people & the impressively ordinary moments that lurk day to day, intimately depicted & warmly delivered through the still lens by Melbourne photographer William Watt.

2 014 editi on ca l enda r - 4 th an n ual 2013 was a busy year for Melbourne Street, including a solo exhibition, a relaunch of the website, working with Tourism Austalia and Pentax, as well as several exciting photography commisions coming through the site.

While the style for this year’s calendar leans toward landscapes, cityscapes and sunset images, the overall pool of images from 2012 was quite diverse. To some extent the final selection was driven by followers of the site, whose instant feedback is hard to ignore. However I’ve included a few shots that made no impact online but are personal highlights from the year.

Each photograph in this year’s calendar was originally photographed in the corresponding month. As with previous years, the print run is limited to 100 copies & 20% of profits are donated to the Melbourne Street to Home program.

I always enjoy seeing a Melbourne Street calendar up on the wall when I visit friends and family - your support with this project has been fantastic. Equally, I hope strangers here and overseas find some enjoyment from these photographs throughout the year.
