NEARLY 40% OF ALL ENGAGEMENTS HAPPEN FROM THE END OF NOVEMBER, THROUGH THE END OF FEBRUARY, WITH DECEMBER BEING THE MOST POPULAR MONTH FOR AN
ENGAGEMENT BY FAR. If you don’t know someone who is planning to get married, you may soon. Once the engagement has been set it’s time for all of the planning to kick into gear. Something that many people don’t understand is the need for making appointments early, especially in times like these when supply chains are snapping all around us. Wedding professionals are predicting a jump in the number of weddings in 2022, the most in 40 years!
Normally the ring is chosen first, followed generally by: the venue, the dress, the caterer, the DJ… Don’t forget to schedule these two important appointments early, or you may find that you are left out in the cold.
Wedding Dress Alterations.
Find the Alterations Tailor that you want to work with and contact them (even before you get your dress) about the how the timing looks for your upcoming schedule of appointments.
Your Groom and Groomsmen’s Attire.
If you are looking forward to a custom suit, plan to be at the shop at least 10 - 12 weeks in advance of your wedding.
Purchasing an off the rack suit or tuxedo is a bit less time intensive, but you should still allow a month in case there are any shipping delays and/or alterations to be made.
Renting? Get in as early as possible it will help to make sure you can get the items you want for your wedding. Two months prior at the latest.
Advanced planning will help make sure that your wedding attire will come together seamlessly.
For your wedding, as well as with all things in life… Dress Well, Be Confident, Find Success!
