Life at Willamette
Campus life
Make a great Impression
Live, learn and play in a community that celebrates your talents and inspires you to dream big. Willamette is an ideal place to call home, and you’ll find all kinds of ways to get involved.
You can take the field, take the stage, take the lead in a student club — the possibilities are endless. Along the way, you’ll experience the wonders of the Pacific Northwest with the best friends you’ve ever had. And you’ll make memories that last a lifetime.
Leave a lasting legacy
Settle right in
Our residence halls are unique communities full of activities, resources, support services, events and a diverse group of fellow Bearcats. Each hall is self-contained with its own lounges, recreation areas, kitchen, study rooms and a variety of housing services.
Residence life
As a residential campus, our living-learning programs are an integral part of the total student experience. Research has shown that students who live on campus enjoy greater academic success and are more likely to achieve in other areas such as teamwork, problem-solving, and leadership.
Find your comfort zone
Ready to get social? Let’s start with the Bistro. Home to signature treats and stimulating conversations, our student-run coffee house is a key hub on campus. Pick up a drink on the way to class or while kicking back at an open mic night.
Want to build something that lasts? Welcome to Willamette. Just in the past few years, students have established the Bearcat Pantry to address food insecurity, the Bike Shop for cycling enthusiasts and an internship preparation program for first-generation students. Now it’s your turn to start something.
Hubs & hangouts
You’ll also enjoy connecting with your classmates at Goudy Commons, the Montag Center or Rick’s Cafe. Relax and recharge in outdoor spaces like the Star Trees, the Martha Springer Botanical Garden and the most iconic place of all: the Mill Stream.
At the center of it all
Our academic hearths are a Willamette creation — study and social areas just outside faculty offices.
