Personalized advising. Because of the schools’ partnership, you will receive guidance tailored to your journey. Advisors at both Willamette and Chemeketa will work with you throughout the process.
Remove the guesswork. When you follow the Bearcat Pathway, you don’t have to worry about whether your credits will transfer to keep you on track to complete your bachelor’s degree within two years.
Small class sizes. With a student to faculty ratio of 12:1, you will have the opportunity to make personal connections with both your peers and professors.
Stay local. Continue your academic journey in your own community and build upon the connections you’ve already made.

We’ve partnered with Chemeketa Community College to devise specific pathways that will allow students to pursue a variety of majors. These pathways include a prescribed course list for both Willamette and Chemeketa that will allow you to graduate with your bachelor’s degree in four years.
• Admitted students are automatically considered for renewable merit scholarships starting at $25,000.
• Students who meet the requirements on the Bearcat Pathway Program will receive a partnership grant.
• Additional financial aid opportunities and transfer scholarships may be available.

• Meet with a transfer advisor at Willamette once per year
• Meet with an academic advisor at Chemeketa twice per year
• Complete an Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer (AAOT) degree or equivalent with a 3.0 or higher
