Will Blodgett
Will Blodgett is the CEO and Founder of Tredway, a development firm and innovator in the affordable and mixed-income housing space. Will’s career has spanned the public and private sectors. He worked in the Affordable Housing Group at The Related Companies, served as a Special Advisor to the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) and co-founded the development firm Fairstead. Over the course of his career, Will has led the acquisition and development over 25,000 residential apartments and transacted more than $6 billion of real estate. Will's focus at Tredway is creating affordable and mixed-income housing solutions in collaboration with federal, state and local housing agencies and nonprofit partners. Tredway’s approach is data-driven and the firm is committed to projects that do well by doing good. Will was recognized as "Innovator of the Year" in 2020 by the Commercial Observer and ranks among City & State's "Real Estate Power 100.” Will has secured his place among the visionaries forging a path forward to create the next era of real estate in America. He appears on the Commercial Observer's 2024 Power 100 list and was named "Innovator of the Year" by the same publication in 2020. Will has also been recognized as one of the most powerful people in real estate by Crain's New York Business and City & State. Beyond his professional achievements, Will’s passion for affordable housing resonates in his philanthropic endeavors. Alongside his wife, Carolyn Tisch Blodgett, he champions initiatives that uplift underprivileged youth and emphasize the connection between sports and academics. Mr. Blodgett holds a BA from Yale University and an MBA from MIT's Sloan School of Management.
