The origins of Cool Flo Clothing Co. started back in ‘89 when we went to a VW show for the first time... and literally caught ‘the bug’! Having grown up in a close family unit, we’ve always had many of the same interests and a love of life in the Great Outdoors, so it was quite natural that vintage Volkswagens became a shared passion from that moment onwards. It wasn’t just the lines of the vehicles or the sound of an air-cooled engine that got us hooked, though; it was the friendships made, the sense of community and lifestyle that goes hand in hand with the VW scene. We loved it! We’ve worked together for over 20 years, grafting hard, saving up and building our collection of Volkswagens and making time for life in the great outdoors; whether that be world travel, camping in our vans, surfing, riding BMX, boarding, kayaking etc... We had a dream to one day create something for the scene that we all love...but how? Using our eye for detail and the distinctive Cool Flo script (which began life as a doodle on a scrap of paper and is now recognised globally within the VW community), we set up Cool Flo Clothing Co. to produce a range of high quality tees, hoodies and merchandise for men, women and children who love to live life on the move (whether that be on the road, on the mountains, on the coast or on the ramp!). At the Cool Flo Cave in London, the Crew oversee each step of the process from sourcing fabrics, through to design and manufacture. Our ‘grass roots’ brand was born from a passion.
