Hello Key Clubbers of Division 9! My name is Andrick B. Carroll and I have been installed to act as your 2018-2019 Lieutenant Governor! Let me begin by giving my greatest appreciations, not only is it an honor to be serving as the lesion between the divisional level and district level, but it is an absolute dream come true to serve you and alongside you as we embark on yet another year of memorable impact, meaningful community driven projects, and most importantly, sharing the love we have for service and each other. As many of you know I am an ambitious leader, this is both a blessing and a curse. I have big dreams for us as a division. Although I understand these dreams will not come easy, I have no doubt that we, together, will be able to accomplish this. I will be visiting each club soon to connect and discuss what we can do for an amazing year. Until then, stay fine Division 9. In love and unity, Andrick B. Carroll

This year I went down early with my home club! Because of this extra day they were able to go explore the wonders of portland, such as the International Rose Test Garden and take pictures at Multnomah Falls!

“This year went really well for the Liberty Bell Key Club, we made a few adjustments here and there that I believe will help out in the long run. We have added to the number of projects that we do over the year so that there is more of a chance for members to be involved, this includes the Taco Dinner and helping out at the upcoming Trashion Show. We created a strong cohort of members that I hope will continue being involved in the community, either into their next year of high school or wherever their heart takes them. For this upcoming year, I hope to improve on our retention rate as well as involvement in the projects that we offer. I do also know, that I am leaving the club in good hands for the 2018-19 school year.” -Liliana Hart-Beck, LBH Key Club President

“As a member and Vice President I was pleased to be in assistance to my wonderful president, but more importantly the outstanding members I served alongside with. This past year was successful and vital to the continuous thriving nature of Division 9. Ever since Dmitri’s visit at the beginning of the year we, as a Division were able to accomplish many things. I noticed a growth in membership and membership activity, the different ways we were able to serve, whether that being from name trains to serving ice cream to children, and most importantly the reach and radius of an impact we were able to make at a community level and international while serving KCCP. I look forward to another year of service!”
“Omak High School Key Club is characterized by the commitment, compassion, and unity of its members. The diversity of the club has brought our school strong leaders that are ready to serve and humbly give their time to our community. The project that represents our club is Name Trains; here we help build trains that help children learn to spell their names and other words. In a weekly basis we happily spend two hours at Wally’s ,our coordinator’s, wood-shop. Along with Name Trains we enjoy our service year by helping with Special Olympics, SPIN, road cleanups, and other projects. The variety of projects has awakened an interest in students of different backgrounds. Key Club is more than a community service program; it is a family that shares the same passion: caring.” -Fransheca Oliver, OHS Key Club President
