2. Content and Wardrobe - Our producers and writers will help you with your content development. 3. Wardrobe Dos and Don’ts -

Once you’ve decided on your wardrobe approach, we’ll want to go over it with you and your talent, since in most cases they’ll be using their own clothing. Here are a few examples of what your talent should not wear: • fabrics that wrinkle easily, like linen • baggy clothes (they make people look heavier than they really are) • shiny or noisy jewelry; dagling earrings • silk (it rustles, causing sound problems, and shows sweat stains quickly) • hats, unless necessary for the identity of the character (they cast shadows) • fabrics with tight patterns, like checks, stripes, herring bone and hounds tooth (they createan unstable, vibrating, jumpy effect called a moiré pattern) • clothes and shoes that display brand

names or commercial logos • outfits in the latest style (fads will quickly date your video) • deeply saturated colors, especially red (video doesn’t handle them well and they tend to bleed when duplicated) • bright white or extremely dark colors

4. Production - Technically, it is the process of creating video by capturing moving images, and creating combinations of parts of this video in live production and post-production (video editing). In most cases the captured video will be recorded on electronic media such as video tape, hard disk, or solid state storage, but it mightonly be distributed electronically without being recorded. It is the equivalent of filmmaking, but with images recorded electronically instead of film stock. 5. Editing - Video editing is the process of editing segments of motion video production footage, special effects and sound recordings in the post-production process. Using video, a director can communicate non-fictional and fictional events. The goals of editing is to manipulate these events to bring the communication closer to the original goal or target. It is a visual art. 6. Distribution and Deliverables -

The term Deliverables will come up when it is time to sign a contract with your sales agent in order for him to find traditional distribution for your project (theatrical, DVD, VOD, broadcast, basically public viewing project, You Tube, Vimeo, and other online viewing channels) or with a distributor directly. Deliverables refer to a list of requirements such as print materials, publicity materials and legal documentation needed to release your project. Deliverables are the last things created by the production team and delivered to the film’s distributor.
