William Corrigan

I am currently based in Sheffield studying for my bachelor of arts in photography. Influenced heavily by street photography and documentary, my style of photography is about recording people in their everyday lives. Picking a single moment of contemplation out of busy mundanity of urban existence. None of the photographs in my body of work are staged, working candidly I mainly shoot in digital black and white. Focusing closely on geometric patterns, lines, shapes, and composition. I would describe my practice as a fine art photographer, looking to extract the extraordinary out of the ordinary. Within my work I am not trying to persuade you of an idea or point of view. But to merely contemplate the world around you.
