Natalia Aguilar 2017-2018
Exploration and Discovery
During the year, I developed a series of skills based on the exploration of techniques, with a variation of the composition, to discover my strengths and flaws. This exploration helped discover my style as an artist and allowed me to guide myself to a more efficient work, as well as a preference for different techniques. This exploration includes the practice of a variety of techniques such as lino cut, soft pastels, charcoal, Chinese ink, acrylics markers, color pencils and photography.

Sensibility of Color
Color is present every day in our lives, but the complexity of its involvement in the different levels of life can make it one of the most important things to humans. It is clear that colors are present in the visual area of everyday life, but it is also present in the personal perspective of humans, especially in emotions and perceptions. This portfolio attempts to link both interpretations of color in a different way of seeing the world and reflect how color is such an important factor to the eye and how changing its way of being used can alter the human perception.
