An Artistic Endeavor: Fascination With Movement

The idea was born out of a visit to the Palm Springs Art Museum where Emma Camden and Masahiro Asaka’s glasswork prompted me to look into movement in abstract sculpture.

Conceptually,Inarroweddownthe answerstothequestionbydefiningthreekeyobjectives: ● capturemovement ● suggestmovement ● capturetheeffectsofmovement. Inpractice,theworkwasguidedbythewaxitselfwhich madeitabsolutelynecessarytobeopentomakingmistakes.
