PORTFOLIO Nicolas Pulido

I was interested in art when I was very young, but as I grew up I lost touch with that side of me because of school and sports. Recently, I started rediscovering my interest and join the PCA. In my art, I am not trying to develop a concrete concept as much as I am trying to experiment with dierent techniques and ideas so I can develop a more complex concept in the future.

This year, I explored the theme of youth. I started with the idea of skin as a tesMmony of youth, because skin is what hold scars or marks that, I believe, document youth. I was also trying to portrait the process of selfďŹ nding that is involved in youth. Throughout my process, I tried to use both of these ideas and show the dierent connecMons that I made between them, youth, and several other seemingly unrelated topics.
