[INSERT LOGO HERE] Snowmass Mammoth Fest Snowmass, CO June 12-14, 2015 The 3rd Annual Snowmass Mammoth Festival Offers Even More Than Great Musical Performances A Premium Microbrewery Tasting, Sanctioned Chili Competition, Kids Area, and Outdoor Recreation Elevate the Patron Experience Snowmass Village, CO (June 7th, 2015) - The 3rd annual Snowmass Mammoth Festival returns to Snowmass Village, CO with three days of live music featuring nationally touring acts. Beyond the artists performing on stage, there will also be dozens of craft beer and food artisans on site showcasing their skills throughout the weekend. An eclectic assortment of 25 microbreweries from Colorado and beyond will showcase a tasteful variety of over 70 premium beers and cider selections during the Grand Tasting on Saturday from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. in Snowmass Town Park. On Friday, the first of a two part Chili Grand Tasting will kick off at the Snowmass Village Mall at 5 p.m. during the Free Friday music scheduling. The second offering of a dozen Southwestern chili cooks showcasing their competition-grade red chili, green chili, and salsa is set to happen at Noon on Saturday in the same location. Cooking begins early in the day, and the public is invited to try samples and mingling with cooks to help decide their vote for People’s Choice Award. Following International Chili Society (ICS) rules, a panel of expert judges will select three top winners in each category, with 1st place winner advancing to the ICS World Championships. The town of Snowmass features more than 50 miles of hiking and biking trails, including an extensive liftserved freeride and downhill trail network that was recently named a Bronze Level Ride Center by the International Mountain Bicycling Association. Visitors can also enjoy gold medal fly-fishing, Class V whitewater rafting and kayaking, and weekly events that include a Western Rodeo, Sunset dinners, and ACES-guided nature walks. Snowmass Mammoth Fest has also partnered with Four-Mountain Sports to bring you the ultimate festival weekend experience on two wheels. Snowmass Mammoth Festival prides itself on being family-friendly by offering a number of engaging activities to our young festival patrons. Kids of all ages can enjoy various activities in the Kid's Area including inflatable bounce castles, hula hoops, and fun games throughout the festival weekend. Snowmass Town Park is a great outdoor location to bring children and make it a weekend with the family. Kids 12 and under are admitted free when accompanied by an adult. To assist patrons in getting around Snowmass and the surrounding area, additional transportation options are being made available this year. RFTA now departs Snowmass and Aspen every 30 minutes on the 15th and 45th minute of the hour between 7:15 a.m. and 2:15 a.m.. Snowmass Mammoth Festival’s very own transport bus option named Ramblin’ is set to depart Snowmass Town Park Station and Aspen near Ruby Park every 30 minutes on the top of the hour and 30th minute mark from 1 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Additionally the loop from the Snowmass Village Mall to Snowmass Town Park Station loop will be available every 10 minutes during peak hours, and every 20 minutes on Friday and later hours on Saturday.
