Located at Jl. KH. Wahid Hasyim, Medan. The house is situated on the corner of the block so that it has two sides facing the street (hook). That situation is used to create two entrances for two different program functions.

Above Family room is the heart of the house, children can play freely in the garden while being watched from inside. Left Dining room is connected directly to the central courtyard.


Curvion Underwater Restaurant Architecture Studio #3 Site Area 1000 sq.m Year 2014

Located right on the banks of the river surrounded by tropical forests (fictitious). The building design synergy with the existing condition of the site and also the nature around to maintain the natural atmosphere of the site and surroundings. This restaurant offers extensive view of underwater. Rooftop area is used as a viewing platform to enjoy the scenery of tropical forest, as a space to appreciate and feel the beauty of nature, also enhances self affinity to nature.

Curved mass along the river bank is the main mass and the tube is an additional mass which emphasizes the entrance.

The tube is divided into two and “subtract� in such a way to provide a courtyard area.

The mass partially sunk into river and ramp is provided to access the rooftop.

Above Entrance hall gives panorama view to tropical forests through massive wide glass. Below Beautiful underwater view from the restaurant and skylight allows natural light to be freely enter the building after buffered by water curtain.


Tropical Lake House Conwood Design Competition Site Area 390 sq.m Year 2015

Located in Kota Baru Parahyangan, Bandung. House in a tropical setting both the interior and exterior impression.This residence provides view to the lake, celebrating the tropical climate with openings for access to light and air circulation.

The family room was placed at the end of the site in order to give tranquil ambience and good view of the lake to the room.

To emphasize public area and privacy area, living room and dining room is positioned as a transition area.

The importance of the shopping mall function to meet the needs of society make it as entertainment and leisure facilities that are needed in every city. At the current condition of the surrounding area of Kuala Namu Airport and the city development plan of aerotropolis, shopping mall takes the important role for the community needs of urban shopping and entertainment. In line with the times and the development of the region itself, environmental issues and customer demand in later time becomes references in designing this mall and manifested in a contemporary architectural style.

KONSEP KEBERLANJUTAN PADA SISTEM BANGUNAN


Collect and then filter portion of storm water to be supplied to flush toilets and water taps on the landscape.

The application of skylights over the atrium to provides illumination of natural light into the building.

The application of green roof to reduce the heat load of the building as well as help mitigate the urban heat island.

Stack effect by letting the wind blow through the wind tunnel at 1st level of the building, then the skylight unit in the atrium pull upward current hot air of the plaza area outside the building convectively.

Application of double skin facade to avoid exposure to direct east and west sunlight and provides shading on the lower level of the building.

Application of energy efficient radiant cooling system to handle the sensible heat load and integrate it with natural ventilation to handle the latent heat load of the building.

R House Architecture Studio #1 (redesign) Site Area 390 sq.m Year 2016

Located in Jl. Sei Asahan, Medan. Mass formation and program of this tropical modern residential is arranged so in order to get access to light and air can flow freely. Courtyard and a vertical garden provides shade and green scenery in almost every residential space. Application of local materials also gives visually impression of typical Indonesia tropical design.


Site is located in a residential area with fairly quiet environment that dominated by 2-story houses.

After consideration of setback and land regulation, whole requierements of the program reached one and a half floors.
