The purpose of this project is to design an independent home office for 2 people right in the green yard next to their house. The owner want a single space that accommodates working space and sitting / rest area at once with cozy, clean and bright interior.

inner space and outer space. Furthermore, perforated brick wall divides the plot into two area with different level of privacy, also provides a visual boundary from the road, while allowing occupant to look outside. On a yard surrounded by greenery, G office was designed to be a mass consisting of thin elements and floating above grass surface. The exterior facade mostly rendered in white to reflect the heat. This settings gives a soft and light impression to the building.

Being flanked by two-storey houses and existing rows of pine trees, plot area is partially shaded in the morning and evening. Additional shading is provided by a generous roof above. This allows extensive use of operable glass wall. Thus simultaneously, gives abundant of natural light to the interior and views to the yard, blurring two different entities,

J HOTEL Interior Hotel Renovation 2017 / Professional Work / Sixthree Studio

J Hotel is a four-storey budget hotel located at a strategic location Jl. Waringin, Medan City, near downtown. The scope of this hotel renovation is lobby area, corridor and room units. Mainly, the renovation decisions are creating light well, reconfiguring layout and revamping the interior design to give the space a fresh new look.

by natural light. Then, the use of clear glass walls allows the light to access each room unit. All openings are oriented to massive walls to maintain the privacy of each room unit. This intervention allows the space unit to be brighter and more spacious, and also there is subtle interaction between guests and outside enviroment through the movement of natural light.

The current condition of all room units are without direct windows outside so that the room feels cloistered and damp. Therefore, a continuous gap space upwards is created by reducing approximately 2 m2 area of each unit. This gap space will be freely penetrated

Hotel interior is renewed by changing the materials, furniture, artificial lighting and overall mood and style of the interior. This give a new ambient to the hotel and unique experience to guests.

TRAPEZOIDAL MOD Modular Tiny House 2018 / Competition / Individual Entry

The objective is to design a “Tiny House to be used as holiday retreat or home away from home. Therefore, Tiny house has to be designed to be transportable and should be usable all year round (in Eastern Europe geographical location).

Adaptability is important aspect in designing this tiny retreat house. The on-stilt design allows the house to be placed on uncertain terrain. The SIP board structure provide durable and energy-eficient features to the house. While pivot walls and door can be fully closed as protection from bad weather condition.

The house should be based on modular construction & has a footprint of no more than 25 square meters. This module will be a core module and should feature 4 mandatory zones: kitchen, sanitary room, sleeping area and living area. Expansion module should be treated as addition to the core module and offer only certain area expansion.

The Main volume of the house is consisted of 2 modules which can be mounted horizontally or stacked vertically. Inside the house accomodates all the basic needs of two people. Area under the main volume was used for storages to maintain a spacious space above.
