Payments:

• Payment must be made in full at the time of registration. VISA, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express accepted.

Refunds:

• Refund requests must be made prior to the first day of the program, class, or league. Refund requests after the first day due to illness, injury, or relocation is subject to review by the Director.

• All refunds will be assessed a 10% administrative charge, not to exceed $5.

• All refund requests must be made in writing by email to parksandrecreation@williamsburgva.gov.

OPEN GYM TIME

The recreation center offers a variety of open gym times. Hours are subject to change. A $2 daily rate is required to participate in all open gym activities.

WILLIAMSURG WALKING CLUB

The Williamsburg Walking Club is a FREE program that provides an excellent opportunity for individuals who want to exercise but do not want aerobics or may not be physically able to do other types of exercises. Walkers are encouraged to walk at their own pace in the comfort of the air conditioned/heated gym.

Monday - Friday: 8 - 10am

PICKLEBALL

Pickleball is a combination of tennis, badminton, and ping pong. It’s fast-paced and easy to learn, great exercise, and lots of fun! Balls and paddles are available free of charge. Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 8am - 12:30pm Tuesday, Thursday: 10am - 12:30pm

BASKETBALL

Whether you are looking to hone your skills or to participate in a pick-up game, open play basketball is for you. Basketballs are provided. Personal basketballs are not allowed.

Monday - Friday: 1 - 4:30pm Sunday: 5 - 8pm

VOLLEYBALL

This drop-in program is fun and a great way to get some exercise and meet new people. Volleyballs are provided. Personal volleyballs are not allowed. Sunday: 5 - 8pm

ROOM RENTALS

Looking for that perfect location for a party or a place to celebrate a special occasion? Quarterpath Recreation Center has three rooms available for rent for birthday parties, bridal and baby showers, and corporate events. The 18,000-square-foot gymnasium is also available for rent. YOUTH TENNIS PROGRAMS

(AGES 5-8)

Program is designed to give kids an advantage to learning tennis by using a lower net, smaller court, low compression balls, and smaller rackets.

Program is designed for new and “rusty” players returning to the game. Skills are developed through instruction and play while emphasizing the fun and social aspects of tennis.

YOUTH DANCE CLASSES

CREATIVE MOVEMENT (AGES 3-5)

This class is an introduction to theatrical dance with an emphasis on ballet, balance, and gross motor skill development. (Ballet shoes are required.)

COMBO DANCE (AGES 5-7)

This class offers a combination of ballet and tap. Dancers will learn the beginning fundamentals of each discipline through the development of movement and coordination. (Ballet & tap shoes are required.)

All classes take place at the Quarterpath Recreation Center, 202 Quarterpath Road. Hair must be off the face, pulled back and preferably in a tight bun. Tights/leggings, ballet slippers and a leotard are to be worn to all dance classes. Skirt is optional. All ballet slipper ribbons must be double-knotted or cut off before entering class. Please be on time and consistent in attendance.

ZUMBA® (18+)

This fun fitness program involves cardio and Latin-inspired dance while experiencing a full body workout. Please be on time and consistent in attendance. Late arrivals disturb the class in session.

Spend time connecting with the outdoors at beautiful Waller Mill Park. This 2,705-acre park is situated around a reservoir that opened to the public in July 1972. The 360-acre reservoir is open for fishing, boating, pedal boating, canoeing, and kayaking with a tunnel connecting the upper and lower sections of the reservoir. Many picnic tables, picnic shelters, play fields, and playground equipment are nestled among the trees.

Are you planning a family event or birthday party? Consider renting one of our four picnic shelters at Waller Mill Park. Waller Mill Park is also home to an 18-hole Disc Golf course.

Disc Golf is played in much the same fashion as traditional golf but uses thrown discs instead of a struck ball.

The 1.5-acre dog park at Waller Mill Park is an unleashed dog park with two areas for dogs to run. One fenced area is for smaller dogs weighing 30 lbs. or less, and the other fenced area is for all dogs. A daily pass to the dog park is $2 per day / per dog with proof of rabies vaccination and dog license. Memberships are also available at the boathouse and are priced as specified below.

W/JCC/York County Resident:
