Women on Water Hobson’s Bay Yacht Club Women on Water at Hobson’s Bay Yacht Club was developed in 2012 from a small dedicated group of women who are keen to encourage more women and girls to fully participate in all aspects of sailing. They have been able to participate in theory and practical training, racing events around the bay and events with other sailing clubs. The current group encompasses approximately 30 women and is starting to grow as more women and girls are joining the group.
