The family home of the Duke and Duchess of Rutland.
One of the largest and grandest houses of the Elizabethan age.
My favourite room is the Elizabeth Saloon. The twinkle and magic of this room with red and gold and with Elizabeth the Fifth Duchess with you all the time - always makes me smile Her Grace The Duchess of Rutland

Easton Walled Gardens
Grimsthorpe Castle
Rediscovered 400 year old ‘lost’ gardens. A truly lovely place to visit.
An imposing building set amongst the rolling Lincolnshire countryside.
Keen gardeners always love the plant that is in flower now but, if pushed to choose, I would say that I love the tapestry of wildflowers on our terrace meadows. They are filled with insect life, colour and scent all summer Ursula Cholmeley
Opening Times 2nd March - 31st October Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays Gardens open at 11am. Last admission 4.00pm.
The ornamental kitchen garden at Grimsthorpe is a sheltered, tranquil spot. There’s always something of interest to see; serried ranks of lettuce, heavily-laden standard gooseberry bushes or globe artichoke flowers alive with honeybees. I’m often tempted to sample a strawberry or two Ray Biggs
Opening Times Open April and May, Sundays and Thursdays. June to September: Sunday to Thursday inclusive. Park & Gardens open from 11am - 6pm (last admission 5pm.)
Group visits by arrangement.
Castle open 12noon (last admission 3pm.)
