CAMPERS & DAY-VISITORS!

Please help us keep parks clean and dispose of all garbage correctly. Garbage can result in human-wildlife conflict and become a hazard to park visitors. We suggest bringing a garbage bag with you to collect your trash and dispose of it at park designated garbage and recycling areas before heading home. We appreciate and encourage park-lovers who are committed to protecting our environment for the future.

DUNES DAY USE AREA

Sudden drop off occurs at the Dunes Beach. The drop off is marked with white drop off buoys. Beyond these buoys there is deeper water. The drop off location changes depending on the water levels, it could be closer to the shore when water levels are low or further away from shore when water levels are high. Swim with extreme caution, wear a life jacket if you cannot swim. Lifejackets are available at the West Lake Gate and the Woodyard.
