Obsessions are defined as repetitive, persistent thoughts, images, or urges.

These thoughts are not enjoyable or voluntary and do not represent a person’s actual desires.

Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) A mental health condition that's triggered by a terrifying event — either experiencing it or witnessing it. Symptoms may include flashbacks, nightmares and severe anxiety, as well as uncontrollable thoughts about the event.

Social Phobia (or Social Anxiety Disorder) This is characterized by fear of embarrassment associated with performance or exposure to evaluation by others.

Anxiety In Childhood Children often express anxiety differently than the way adults experience anxiety. This is because children do not have the cognitive tools and experiences that adults have to express and cope with these feelings.
