All senator® plastic pens are fully produced in Germany using 100% Green electricity. For us, “Made in Germany” goes far beyond mere advertising and encompasses the entire value chain from design and development, injection moulding, assembly and printing to logistics and quality assurance. SENATOR® IS CLIMATE NEUTRAL

A healthy environment plays a major role for us. That is why we pay special attention to sustainable materials and production processes, ecological compatibility, waste avoidance, resource conservation and recycling. For example, we only purchase green electricity from hydropower and at the same time invest in electricity-saving measures at our production site.

Another important step in holistic climate protection is the offsetting of greenhouse gases. For us, this means not only continuing our efforts to reduce them, but also recording unavoidable greenhouse gas emissions and offsetting them through climate protection projects. For this reason, Senator GmbH is a climate-neutral company since 2021.

With the climate neutrality of our company, we support both regional and global climate protection projects. In this way, we also promote the achievement of the global Sustainable Development Goals, such as the fight against poverty or the improvement of living conditions in emerging and developing countries.

Recycled Pens

A total of 5 models are now available as an option made of recycled material. For the production, we use an ABS ReCompound based on >95% recycled material. This means reusing industrial production scraps and waste, returns and everyday products. The CO₂ emissions generated in the production of these products are offset by investments in climate protection projects.

We have already had many years of experience in processing bio-plastic and have 4 models made of this material in our range. The bio material we process is a PLA (polylactic) obtained from sugar cane from certified GMO-free cultivation. The CO₂ emissions generated in the manufacture of these products are offset by investments in climate protection projects.

Senator® writing instruments are designed for a long service life. This already makes a significant contribution to conserving resources. But what happens when the refill is empty?
