project sample: cable puc Have you ever had the issue of unplugging your laptop or electronics cables only to have them fall behind your desk? Cable Puc is a simple solution to this problem. It is a 3.5 inch rubber puck that holds 5 quater inch cables at once. The rubber holds it down on most surfaces and allows cables to retract when without falling behind when not in use. Most organizers on the market are simple clips, adhesive backed or weighted. These do work at keeping cables at bay, but at the risk of toppling over or leaving a residue on the surface.
Cable Puk was a senior studio project in which 10 were made and sold for $10 a piece. Each Puk half was manufactured with a urethane rubber compound.
