Verne and Roger take the stage for a session of great storytelling with coaching from the sideline by emcee Ed Clements of KLBJ Radio. Proceeds help the Sports Media Institute provide training, on-line learning, grants and scholarships for high school and college students pursuing sports journalism careers. The institute also is a catalyst for innovative projects at Texas colleges and universities. Last year’s event sold out quickly.
