This week we are talking about Open Farm Sunday, Walking White Horses 2013 and Public Health amongst other things.

Plastic bag and cardboard collections From Monday 3 June, the council will be making some small changes to the plastic bottle and cardboard collection rounds across the county. These changes will not affect your collection day but may affect the time of your collection. Please remember to put your bin/bags out by 7am on your scheduled collection day to avoid missing your collection.

Walking Wiltshire’s White Horses 2013 Start a journey of your own making that explores 100 miles of stunning landscape and eight white horses through a series of creative and outdoor activities between June and August. Artists Ali Pretty and Richard White are working with The Wiltshire Museum and Devizes Carnival to create a celebration of the White Horse Trail. You are invited to be part of the creative team who will contribute to the making of a digital layer to the walks, an installation, a series of silk flags and the Devizes Carnival. There are many different ways to take part: walk, talk, write, draw, paint, photograph, make maps, record sounds, make films and share online. Find out what, when and how at the launch event Wiltshire Museum 31 May or on The Arts In Wiltshire blog.
