2023 Market Statistics Average Length of Stay •

The average length of stay fell from 2022 to 2023, and was just below 10 nights in 2023.

During Festive, the average length of stay over Christmas was 8.4 nights and average length of stay over New Year’s Eve was 11.1 nights.

Occupancy •

In High Winter Season, occupancy went up 135% from 2022 to 51% occupancy in 2023.

For Festive Season, occupancy went up 150% from 2022 to 47.2% in 2023.

Summer occupancy is 74% of Winter occupancy.

Average Daily Rate (ADR) •

ADRs for the High Winter Season went up 114% to $2,377 USD.

ADRs for Festive Season went up 154% to $4,671 USD.

Key Insights •

Across the island, the average length of stay is down. It appears that visitors prefer shorter stays that accommodate their busy schedules, and gravitate toward flexibility as they find work-life balance.

Despite the average length of stay going down, occupancy went up–as did the ADR.

While Winter is still considered High Season, Summer occupancy is gaining in popularity.
