Catalogue The North Sea Jazz Archives Since 2016, Wim van Zon, in close corporation with master photographers Henk Bothof, Vincent Menzel and Hans van Ommeren, have selected the best photos taken at the North Sea Jazz Festival since its start in 1976. Many portfolios have been searched but each month new images are gathered. Twice a year the selection is extended with extraordinary photos taken on and off stage in The Hague (till 2005) and Rotterdam (from 2006). The best international photographers are asked to make their own finest selection. From there the selection quartet will look for the very best, either from the historic point of view or the artistic quality. Photographers included in these archives are Paul Bergen, Peter van Breukelen, Rico d’Rozario, Joke Schot, The search continues, we know that we are not complete and that a lot of gems still are to be found. All images presented here are available for exhibitions and most of them are for sale as signed prints. Printed image sizes range from 20 x 20 centimeters till 75 x 50 centimeters. Prices vary per photographer, print method and kind of paper used. Ask for the price of your favorite photo(s), printed in the way you prefer. We are NOT offering large editions but only real collector’s quality.
