Food & Beverage Manager, Kevin Goleman famous mule featured in Mulehead! Directions
Muddle all ingredients in a copper mug, add ice and fill with ginger beer. Stir the cocktail, to allow the goodness from the bottom to reach the top. Trust the bartender, this helps.
Inspiration The hair of the mule came about, as most great innovations do, as the product of necessity. After an evening spent enjoying traditional mules with friends during our annual hacker’s cup golf tournament. I woke up for an early morning tee time needing a little something to “help the golf swing.” To the leftover Stoli and ginger beer, I added some lemon, cayenne and ginger drink my wife had packed for me. The final touch was the leftover honey from the room service breakfast. And with that, the Hair of the Mule was born. While it in no way helped my golf game (not much does) it did provide a refreshing alternative to a Bloody Mary.
Ingredients 1 1/2 Ounce Vodka 1/4 Lemon 1 Teaspoon Honey 1 Pinch Cayenne Pepper 3-5 Pieces Pickled Pepper Ginger Beer To Top
