From Amber Dear Members, On the heels of the outstanding improvements in Member Satisfaction scores that were shared at the Town Hall meeting, we are eager to share with you an exciting Membership Promotion that we are launching next month, The Buddy Program. For a limited time only, The Buddy Program allows for a person to join with up to four of their friends and split a single initiation fee. So, if five people join under the Winchester Golf Membership, each would pay just $2,500…that’s a $10,000 savings!! If a person is new to the area and doesn’t have anyone to join with them, not to worry. During the same time period, a person can join on their own and enjoy a 25% discount off of the applicable initiation fee AND a 25% discount on dues for six months. An eighteen month membership minimum is required for this. These promotions apply to all membership categories, except Legacy and Corporate. So why are we telling you this? At the Member Town Hall meeting we shared the results of the Member Survey taken in December in which every area measured had improved over the past year. In fact, based on the improvements in your experience that have been made thus far, almost 52% of those who completed the survey indicated that they would be Extremely Likely to promote membership at Winchester to a friend or colleague. To help you do this, we wanted to give you a fantastic offer like The Buddy Program so that you can do just that! But wait, there’s more! We are also excited to introduce our new Member Referral Program. Here’s how it works. When you refer a new candidate for membership that joins the Club, you will receive a credit on your account equal to one month of dues of the new membership. Regardless of whichever membership you have, for every new member you refer that joins, you will receive a credit for one month of dues of whatever membership they join under. Referred prospects must be new members and must be scheduled with our Membership and Retail Manager, Amber Shinn, prior to first arrival. For more details on both of these programs, please contact Amber Shinn via email at ashinn@winchestercountryclub.com or via phone at 530.878.3000.

Good to Know

Meet WCC Member August Sewell competing in this Saturday’s bike race Q: How long have you been competitively riding? A: 9 years Q: What do you enjoy about this sport? A: I really enjoy the strength it takes to propel yourself, using your legs and fitness to go fast is fun. The scenery and ground you can cover while riding always leaves you with a sense of accomplishment and in touch with nature, a time to think Q: How has the Winchester Lifestyle impacted your riding? A: My mileage and time on the bike has gone down dramatically, mainly due to golf. I think my racing days are over but with a race in my own community, no excuse not to compete. Q: What other WCC Lifestyle activities do you enjoy? A: The proximity to outdoor hobbies with my wife for hiking, skiing, fishing or just sitting on the beach in Tahoe. We are really looking forward to some Tahoe beach time with our soon to be born son in July. His name will be Grayson Sewell and I think he will be a golfer! My wife is already giving him swing lessons before he is born!
