Monday, October 7th is Monday Night Football in the Pub. The Forty Niners take on the Browns and we have extended our hours that day until 9:00pm. October 14th Speaker/Lecture Program
As part of our ongoing speaker/lecture program, please join us MONDAY, OCTOBER 14 AT 7:00PM for a showing of INSIDE THE MEGA FIRE, an outstanding one-hour documentary produced by PBS Nova about the Camp Fire that devastated four communities in northern California, including Paradise, less than one year ago. The main focus of the film is the start, spread and end of what become the deadliest wildfire in California History. The investigation provides a unique, sobering and scientific analysis of the catastrophic spread of the fire using computer models, actual footage of the fire, the phenomenon of fire tornadoes, and the physics of fire that all contributed to the creation of a MEGA FIRE. The film also discusses the Tubbs fire that affected Napa and Sonoma in 2018 and the Carr fire near Redding in 2018. Battalion Chief, Pat Nelson, of the Placer Hills Fire Protection District will be present to answer your questions after the film. Sign up on ForeTees
