BANKSY KEEPS GIVING Remember the artwork ‘Game Changer’ that was gifted to Southampton Hospitals Charity in May 2020 during the height of the Covid pandemic? The little note that accompanied the artwork said “Thanks for what you’re doing. I hope this brightens up the place a little, even if it’s only black and white.” The picture showed a boy playing with superhero toys and choosing to be with a different kind of hero – a nurse – instead of Batman and Spiderman. Well, last Thursday Winchester Today heard from the Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity that it has received a grant of £50,000 from the proceeds of the auction of the artwork.
