Dear Group Leader We are delighted that you have expressed an interest in coming to the Windermere Centre and we look forward to welcoming you. We hope this document provides all the information you require. Please contact the Centre if you are uncertain about anything regarding your booking. The Windermere Centre is the Training and Development centre of the United Reformed Church. Its primary purpose is to equip the church to develop its life-in-mission. Groups are welcome to use the Centre for their own programme or to arrange a programme in consultation with the Director. Programmes can be delivered in part or in whole by the Centre. Where necessary, the Director is able to arrange for speakers and presenters to fulfil specific requests. Church groups pursuing their own programme are asked to plan a slot of at least 20-30 minutes during which the Director or host couple will give a short presentation about the issues facing the church today. This is usually best done in the ‘Welcome’ slot.

Guests are also able to use on-road parking facilities. Please note that guests using the Centre parking do so at their own risk. Your group leader will be contacted by the host couple prior to your arrival to discuss your requirements.
