HERE COMES

THE SUN

First Day Of Summer!

June 28th and beyond?

This is Washington... it could be anything!

Farmers markets are a great way to get fresh and healthy food and support your local farmers!

Farmers markets will look a little different than we're used to. They are still a great place to shop for fresh produce, vegetable starters and plants, fresh berries, jam, honey, fresh flowers, and gourmet food items. Additionally, most markets host local artisans, and you can find an array of other items from pottery, to jewelry, and even handmade soaps, candles, and bath items. Markets in the area are also inviting local food trucks to come and serve food and desserts. Be sure to stop by one of these markets soon!

Area farmers markets are now open with additional safety precautions in place for fast and fresh shopping!

Average Lackluster Agent

June to August

With all the houses selling so fast, why hire an agent and pay a commission? For Sale By Owner sellers go it alone.

When you're selling your home yourself, you have no real way to advertise your home other than a sign in the yard. And you're left to handle every stop of the process by yourself. How will you manage showings? How will you negotiate offers?

How you sell your home matters. Note a key difference:

Most For Sale by Owner sellers take the one and only offer they get. Sellers whose homes are listed on the market by a licensed real estate broker are getting 10 to 12 showings a day and multiple offers.

But For Sale By Owner sellers are selling off-market and saving money by paying lower commissions, right?

Yes, but—and this is a big but—They are also leaving anywhere from 5% to 20% of the sale price on the table. On a $500,000 home that is $25,000 to $100,000 that the seller could have walked away with at closing. That's like tripping over a dollar to save a dime. In this market, buyers are delighted by a For Sale By Owner listing. They are happy to be that single showing and pay market value without having to compete with other buyers.

Licensed real estate brokers get results.

List your house with a REALTOR® and get the advantage of their experience and knowledge. There are important strategies that make a difference. You will discover it will more than pay for itself.
