In the summer of 2013, I felt the itch to design a fabric line with some playful, kid friendly designs in it. My boys had collected handfuls of bouncy balls from the quarter machine at the grocery store, all with different designs and colors. They inspired me to draw the bouncy ball print, with balls “bouncing” along the fabric. I shelved that design for 4 years, but it was always in the back of my mind. Last year I had the urge to turn that print into a playful fabric line called Besides the bouncy balls, I also drew inspiration for this line from a vintage Jacks game I’d found Besides the bouncy balls, I alsohome drew for inspiration forI wanted this linethis fromline a vintage I’d found at an estate sale and brought my boys. to haveJacks a old game fashioned feel, at an estate sale and brought home for my boys. I wanted this line to have an old fashioned feel, with bright primary colors, and gender neutral prints. After seeing a lack of simple, easy-to-make quilt designs on other blogs, she started her pattern company by the same name. “Quilting adds a little beauty to my everyday...even the crazy, hectic days when to-do lists are a mile long. I design for people like myself...who want to make something beautiful in a relatively short amount of time that will leave them inspired, proud, and excited for what’s next!”.
