HOW TO GET TO THE WINDHAM WEBSITE Step 1. Go to your preferred browser. In this example, we are using Google Chrome. In the address bar, at the top of the page, type in the URL for Windham Fabrics, which is, windhamfabrics.com This will take you to the Windham Fabrics website.

Step 2. This is the homepage of the Windham Fabrics website. From here there is so much you could do! But we will take it slowly. First, we will discuss how to LOGIN. Go to the blue bar at the top of the website and click on the word LOGIN LOGIN.

HOW TO LOGIN Step 3. This is the LOGIN page. If you know your Account ID and Password, please type them into the text boxes and click LOGIN NOW. This will log you into the site, which gives you the ability to shop fabrics, view prices, add things to your cart and more! Please note the login is case sensitive.
If you do not remember your Account ID or Password, please enter your email into the “Forgot your account ID or password?” textbox and click SEND. You will receive an email that will walk you through the process of resetting your password. If you do not have an account with us, you will need to apply for an account. See Step 3a. for further instructions, or if you already have an account, skip to Page 5 Step 4.
Step 3a. Follow this step ONLY IF you do not have an account with Windham Fabrics. This is the NEW CUSTOMERS page. You can get here by clicking on the words CREATE ACCOUNT in the blue bar at the top of the website. Once you are here, just follow the instructions on the page on how to create an account.

Step 4. OK, you are now logged in! This is the Retailer’s Homepage you will see this only when you are logged in. You can still get to the original homepage by clicking on the word HOME in the Navigation Bar. Let’s view the New Releases Windham Fabrics has to offer! We can view them all in one place by using the Fabric Gallery. In the Navigation Bar, as shown in the lower image below, please hover over the words FABRIC GALLERY. There will be a drop-down menu that pops up with a couple more options. We are going to select the WINDHAM FABRICS option.

Step 5. Welcome to the FABRIC GALLERY page. This is a great tool to use when browsing our online store! On the left side you will see a Filter List. This list allows you to narrow down exactly what you are looking for. To start, we are going to browse Windham Fabrics New Releases. The most recent release Windham Fabrics has at the moment is from April 2020. In the Filter List, please click on the words 2020 APRIL RELEASE.

Please note, you are still on the FABRIC GALLERY page, but by clicking on 2020 April Release in Step 5, you have filtered out all the other collections to only show you the collections from the 2020 April Release. As you scroll throughout the page you will see all 29 collections presented to you as small image squares (known as thumbnails). By clicking on one of these thumbnails, we can view all the fabric prints in that specific collection. Let’s try it now! Click on the AMERICAN ROAD TRIP thumbnail.

Step 8. Just for fun, let’s add something to our cart! Select the first print listed, Sku #52334-X. Click on the word BUY. As shown below, you should get a pop-up at the top of your screen that says 52334-X has been added to cart, click here to view or complete your order. Let’s click on the purple lettering that says click here to view or complete your order.

Step 9. This is your CART also known as your SHOPPING BAG. As you continue clicking BUY on prints like we did before, they will be added to your cart on this page. You can view your cart at any time by clicking the words VIEW CART / CHECKOUT in the blue bar at the top of the website (circled below). There are 3 steps to placing an order online once you have selected the fabric you want to buy. STEP 1 - EDIT CART. That is the section we are in now. In this section we can:
-view our products and their info (collection name, sku number, price per yard, size of the bolt)
-the status of the product (right now it says its available to ship as of September 2020)
-the quantity per item (right now we only have one 15YD bolt in our cart for this print)
-the total price of your items
Since this is a15yd bolt at $5.65 per yard, the total for the 15YD bolt will be $84.75. The arithmetic is: 15 x 5.65 = 84.75. On this page you could increase or decrease the number of bolts you would like. Just make sure you hit UPDATE before you proceed. You can also leave any comments / notes you would like our Customer Service department to be aware of. This could include shipping instructions, special contact instructions or anything else important to note. You can remove the item completely from your cart by clicking the word REMOVE. This action is used to remove items selectively. If you wish to remove everything from your cart, click on the word CLEAR.

Since these collections were released in January 2020, you know they will be shipping to stores between the months of April 2020 and August 2020. So this is a great place to shop for fabrics that will be shipping soon! For this example, please click on ACROSS THE USA.

-view the details of the collection (name, designer, number of prints, when it is shipping to stores, and the

Step 14. Let’s say there’s a collection that you know the name of, but you’re not sure which release it was part of. We can Search for this collection specifically. Click in the text box of the Search Bar. For this example, type in the word Curiosity and click the word GO. Search Bar:

Step 15. You will be brought to this page, which is a different section of the Fabric Gallery. Here, specific collections that you search for will be displayed. As you can see, CURIOSITY is being displayed; please click on this collection.

USING THE NAVIGATION BAR Step 17. The Navigation Bar is a great tool for jumping to different sections of the website. It allows you to quickly get to specific pages you may be interested in. As you can see, we are still on the Curiosity collection page. To begin, we’ll start with the first option on the Navigation Bar, click on the word HOME.

Step 18. This will take us back to the Home Page of the website. This is a great way to get back to square one. From here you have a ton to explore. The banners scrolling across the top are all interactive. Depending on which one you click, it will take you to the part of the website. Below the banners, are a couple of newsworthy items. Click on these to quickly jump to these areas of the website. Below the news, are our New Releases which continuously scroll in a carousel. Click on any of these to go to that collection page. Under that, are the most recent collection designers. Clicking on any of these names will take you to that designer page. For now, let’s continue exploring the Navigation Bar, click on the words FABRIC GALLERY.

Step 19. Once again we are back to the Fabric Gallery page. You will find this will probably be your most frequented page. As a great way to quickly browse our collections in an organized manner, you’ll be a professional “web surfer” in no time! Since you are already familiar with how this page works, we’ll move on to the next option in the Navigation Bar, please hover over the word PROJECTS. You will see a drop-down menu appear, click on the first option, FREE PROJECTS.
Step 20. The FREE PROJECTS page allows you to view all the free patterns we offer on the website. The patterns on this page are organized by most recently added, to oldest. Unfortunately at this time, there is no other way to filter this section. You can click on any of these patterns to view their details which includes pattern name, pattern designer, dimensions of the project, yardage requirements and when this pattern will be available for download. We recommend using the Free Patterns page to browse new patterns as the primary function. To learn how to search for a specific pattern, please view our Frequently Asked Questions section of this document. Let’s go to the next option in the PROJECTS drop-down menu, PATTERNS FOR SALE.

Step 21. The PATTERNS FOR SALE page allows you to view all the patterns for sale we share on the website. These patterns for sale are not sold on our website, they are sold on various other websites that we direct users to. The patterns on this page are organized by most recently added, to oldest. Unfortunately at this time, there is no other way to filter this section. You can click on any of these patterns to view their details which includes pattern name, pattern designer, dimensions of the project, yardage requirements and where/how this pattern is available for purchase. Let’s go to the next option in the Navigation Bar, please click on the word DESIGNERS.
Step 22. The DESIGNERS page allows you to view all the fabric designers who are part of the Windham Fabrics family. The designers are organized alphabetically. Click on any of the designers for detailed information about them including, a brief bio, references to their personal websites / portfolios, and the collections they’ve designed for Windham Fabrics. Let’s go to the next option in the Navigation Bar, please click on the word CATALOGS.

Step 23. The CATALOGS page allows you to view all the catalogs we have created to promote our licensed fabric designers’ collections. ISSUU is a website we use to display our catalogs online in an interactive way, that way you are able to flip through the pages like a real book! Let’s go to the next option in the Navigation Bar, please click on the words MANUFACTURERS & MAKERS.
Step 24. The MANUFACTURERS & MAKERS page includes information for the manufacturers division for fabric. Let’s go to the next option in the Navigation Bar, please click on the word ABOUT.

Step 25. The ABOUT page tells the story of the origins of Windham Fabrics and their sister companies Baum Textile Mills and Anthology Fabrics. Let’s go to the next option in the Navigation Bar, please click on the words CONTACT US.
Step 26. The CONTACT US page allows users to send questions / concerns directly to customer service. After filling out the required information and checking the checkmark box, click on the word SUBMIT to submit your request to customer service. You will get a response email from customer service some time after that. This concludes our tour of the Navigation Bar. Let’s move on to the next topic, ARCHIVED FABRICS. Step 28. When a fabric is no longer available for purchase it is marked with the phrasing, SKU NO LONGER AVAILABLE. This means that the print can no longer be purchased and is not available for reorder. Once all the prints in a collection are no longer available for purchase, they are moved to the ARCHIVED SECTION of our website. We keep the Archived Section for reference and as a way to organize past collections. There are older patterns and information included in these archived collections that are still relevant today, especially for consumers. This allows them to look up specific fabric they may be searching for, the ability to re-download older patterns, and to look up your stores via the Store Locator! When searching for fabric you are interested in purchasing, please note whether or not the collection you are browsing is in the Archived Section, which means it is not available for purchase.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Q: I’m on the website, but I don’t see prices or a way to shop fabric? A: You must be logged in before you can view prices on shop online. Please click on the word LOGIN in the blue bar on the top of the website. Q: How can I browse fabric? A: Using the Fabric Gallery is a great way to filter and browse fabric collections effectively. You can access this page by going to the Navigation Bar towards the top of the website, hovering over the words FABRIC GALLERY and clicking on the words WINDHAM FABRICS. From here you can use the Filter List on the left-hand side of the site and select the most relevant section you are interested in. For example, 2020 APRIL RELEASE will take you to all the collections released during this month. Q: How can I find a quilt pattern? A: There are 3 ways you can search for a pattern on our website: -If you know the name of the pattern, you can type the pattern name into the Search Bar. The search should return the pattern you’re looking for. -If you only know the collection used, type in the name of the collection in the Search Bar, click on the collection name. Once on the collection page, scroll down to the PATTERN section. The pattern you’re looking for should be listed. -If you only remember the quilt/project image, go to the Navigation Bar, hover over the word PROJECTS PROJECTS, click on either FREE PROJECTS or PROJECTS FOR SALE depending on what you’re looking for. There, we have all our projects listed from most recent to oldest. Apparently, there is no other way to filter this page at the moment. -There is a fourth way to search for patterns, but this only works for Free Patterns. If you know the designer of the pattern, type in the name of the designer into the Search Bar. The search should return a couple of patterns they have written. If you still do not see the pattern you are searching for listed, you can click on the pattern designer’s name underneath one of the patterns. This will take you to the FREE PROJECTS page with only patterns written by that designer listed. 22

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Q: How can I add or remove my name on the Store Locator? A: You must be logged in before you can change these settings. Please click on the word LOGIN in the blue bar on the top of the website. After you have logged in, please go to the Retailer’s Homepage; you can get there by going to the blue bar at the top of the website and clicking on the words RETAILER’S CORNER MAIN PAGE. Once you are there, click on the words UPDATE STORE LISTING located in the list on the left-hand side of the page. On this page you can update your information about your store. At the bottom of this online document is the question, “Display on directory?” This question is referring to displaying on the STORE LOCATOR. Q: If a specific fabric is no longer available, why is it still displayed on the website? A: When a fabric is no longer available for purchase it is marked with the phrasing, SKU NO LONGER AVAILABLE. After you have logged in please go to the Retailer’s Homepage; you can get there by going to the blue bar at the top of the website and clicking on the words RETAILER’S CORNER MAIN PAGE. Once you are there, everything you can do on your account is listed on the left-hand side of your screen in blue font. Here you can: -View Shopping Bag / Cart (access your Cart) -Update Store Listing (change/update information about your store) -View Order History (view past orders you have placed) -Shop Fabric Gallery (use the Gallery to browse our collections) -Shop Stashbuilders (current items on sale) Q: How can I change my password? A: Please click on the word LOGIN in the blue bar on the top of the website. This will bring you to the Login Page. From here there is a section that reads, “Forgot your account ID or password?” In the text box below this section, please enter your email address and click SEND. In a matter of minutes you should receive an email explaining how to change your password. Q: Why am I seeing my order duplicated? Will I be charged twice? A: This is an ongoing issue that we are working on correcting. Luckily, it does not affect your account financially at all, it is simply a display error. Even though the order is being shown twice on your order history, it is only being sent once to be processed and charged. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and are in the process of addressing this issue. Q: I placed an order over the phone, but am not able to view my order online? A: Eventually you will be able to view your order online. Please allow a couple days for your account to reflect the order you placed over the phone. 24

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Q: How can I tell if an item is available to ship? A: Every collection should have a collection description on the top of the collection page. The collection description includes the information: -Collection Name -Collection Designer Name -Number of Prints in the collection -The estimated Shipping Date -Detailed description of the collection The shipping date will determine whether or not the collection is available to ship. As a general rule of thumb, if this shipping date is earlier than the day you are viewing the collection, then it should be available to ship immediately. For example if today was April 10th, 2020 and the shipping date said March 2020, then this fabric collection is available to ship immediately. Some other collections, such as Basics Collections may simply say “Ships At Once”. Please note, if a print has the phrase SKU NO LONGER AVAILABLE then this print will not be available for purchase.
