Dining with the Stars

Children practice setting the table for a three-course meal and learn how to use the appropriate silverware for each course. We focus on posture, poise, greetings, introductions, voice level, and when to leave a party or group with appreciation and farewells. And, of course, we will discuss followingup with a thank you note! Appropriate cell phone use is discussed. Food is used during this program. Business casual dress is required. No jeans or tennis shoes.

Kreative Krafts

This class combines all your favorite arts and crafts projects and mixed media! Students will make tie-dye shirts (to be used as art smocks for the program), paint a canvas (with acrylic paints), create recycled art, paint pottery, and more! Lessons will include concepts and techniques for all projects. Finished work will be taken home. Projects are done individually; there are no shared supplies.

Fashion Sewing Techniques 1

We combine the basic techniques of hand sewing and machine sewing in this 11-week class. You’ll learn basic hand stitch techniques and how to use the sewing machine. By the end of the class, you will have completed at least two different projects — one by hand and one by machine. Sewing supplies include fabric, thread, needles, and pins. Students may choose to purchase additional specialty items.
