Bendigo takes centre stage in Victoria this Saturday with it’s popular “Gold” meeting. The two-year-olds will race for $250,000 in the VOBIS Gold Rush and there’ll be great interest in the Golden Mile, with ENXUTO (pictured) in tremendous form and on track for a fifth consecutive victory.

EASTER EDITION NEXT WEEK Winning Post will be on sale a day earlier than normal next week because of the Good Friday holiday. It’ll be a huge Easter edition with full coverage of All Aged Stakes day at Randwick, where the babies (2Y0s) will also seek G1 glory in the Champagne Stakes. Victoria hosts the Mornington Cup, with the winner gaining a free ticket into the Caulfield Cup. There is also the traditional Oakbank carnival, and Eagle Farm.
