Do you have a Library card? How to get one: Residents and property owners of the Winnetka-Northfield Public Library District are taxed for library services on their real estate tax bills. A Winnetka-Northfield Public Library District card can be obtained upon display of a valid government-issued photo identification card and proof of current address within the District. All District library cards expire after three years and must be renewed with presentation of identification and proof of current address.

Mary Cassatt worked as an artist and businesswoman in an age when most women of her station were restricted to the home. Despite this, she was able to work within her social structure to achieve success by painting private domestic subjects and subjects derived from the everyday life of modern women. WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 18 Free Your Toys From Ice Some of your toys have been frozen in ice and you can free them with science, instead of waiting for them to thaw! Beforehand, freeze some toys in ice cube trays or small plastic containers. There’s a secret to freezing them and another for thawing, so make sure you register in advance. We’ll email the ingredients on November 11.
