READING ADVENTURE! Summer Reading program June 1 - August 1 Get Reading! Our Summer Reading program is a great way to encourage reading as a lifelong habit, keep skills sharp, and encourage interest in books, new ideas and learning. We have fun programs (and great prizes) happening throughout the summer for every age. Everyone receives a tote bag for signing up, and you’ll earn cool digital badges as you progress toward your goal. Can you collect them all? New this year: Helping Hands at the Half! When you’re halfway to your goal, we’ll donate your share of the “midway prize” money to one of three charities. Vote to give to your favorite.
Registration Sign up for The Great Reading Adventure June 1 online at winnetkalibrary.org, or in person at the Library.
Children and Teens Challenge: set your own personal reading goal. We suggest at least 12 hours, but the sky’s the limit. When you meet your goal, you’ll receive a free book and be entered into a grand prize drawing for one of six awesome toy baskets (children) or one of three movie prize packs (teens). School challenge: The school with the most Summer Reading signups will receive a custom trophy.
Adults Challenge: set your own personal reading goal. We suggest 12 hours, but the sky’s the limit. When you meet your goal, you’ll be entered into a grand prize drawing for one of three gift certificates to Broadway in Chicago.
