We are excited to hear your comments and ideas, and to use your feedback to help us create a four-year strategic plan. CONSTRUCTION & IMPROVEMENTS We Appreciate Your Patience

The Library reserves the right to take photographs and video program participants. Photos and videos are for Library use and may be used in Library publicity materials. Patrons who do not wish to be part of photographs or videos should notify Library staff. The Winnetka-Northfield Public Library District is subject to the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. Any individual who plans to attend any program at the Library and who requires a special accommodation, or anyone who has questions regarding accessibility to the Library, is requested to phone the Winnetka Library at (847) 446-7220 or the Northfield Branch Library at (847) 446-5990.

Many improvements have been made at the Library over the past year, some of which affected noise levels and parking, and resulted in rearrangement of furniture and materials. We are grateful for your patience as we update and maintain the buildings and furnishings. Stop in to see the new furniture in the Adult Reading Rooms at our Winnetka and Northfield locations. We’ve also replaced the roof and HVAC system at the Winnetka Library. Both of these improvements will make for a more comfortable building yearround. Planned future improvements include a redesign of the Youth Services areas.
