Youth Services is excited to introduce STEAM kits available at both the Winnetka and Northfield Branch libraries! These kits contain STEAM related games, puzzles and experiments that are available for our patrons on a three-week check-out. We currently have 17 kits available and will be expanding the collection soon. The activities cover a wide range of disciplines including physics, coding, robotics, electronics, engineering, virtual reality, logic, mathematics and art! The kits are designed for children (with the help of an adult) in pre-school and up and allow hands-on play and experimentation in the comfort of your own home. The kits contain detailed instructions for you to follow to make these STEAM activities accessible to you and your children.

The Friends of the Library enrich and enhance the Library experience for the residents of the Library District. This special group of volunteers supports extraordinary programming like One Book Two Villages and more.
