The Reid Group was established in 2009 to provide construction services that include engineering, procurement, and project management. The size of the companies we work with ranges from small, local companies to large, industrial facilities and government agencies. We focus on projects along the East Coast, from the Mid-Atlantic States through the Southern states and Florida. During our first decade, we have expanded both the types and sizes of projects we build, and we’ve completed several projects for many of our clients. We’re honored that we are their chosen resource for their construction needs.

Our Team Eric Reid founded The Reid Group in 2009 and continues to serve as president and oversee the company’s strategic growth. He is supported by a dedicated team with experience in every facet of the construction process, from design through construction. They are passionate about quality and adherence to plans for schedules and budgets. The Reid Group managers have over 50 years of experience and have worked on major construction projects for companies like Westinghouse and Bechtel.
The Reid Group is certified as a Small Business for government projects. Our experience includes both serving as prime contractor and partnering with larger companies as a team member or subcontractor. As we enter our second decade, we continue to expand the types of projects we undertake, to add staff members, and to acquire additional equipment. We are proud of our record for completing projects on time and within budget. Our company continues to see growth both in regional expansion as well as in winning new projects.

A culture of innovation and improvement A new battery powered excavator was introduced to save on fuel costs, reduce emissions, and complete projects more efficiently. The Reid Group was one of the first contractors to test the excavator. The results were groundbreaking: the project it was used on was completed in two months with four workers, rather than the budgeted six months with twenty workers! We are now testing the operation of construction equipment remotely to further reduce costs, improve completion time and alleviate safety concerns.
