DUAL FUEL PORTABLE GENSET - THE GP7500E
The new Generac GP7500E Dual Fuel portable gen-set is rated 9.4 kW starting watts and 7.5 kW running, which enables it to handle loads such as power tools and sump pumps, as well as other critical loads in the home.
Kyle Raabe, president of Consumer Power at Generac, comments: “At Generac, we’re continually striving to provide consumers with simple, convenient power solutions.
“With easy switching from gasoline to liquid propane fuel with just the turn of a dial, the GP7500E is the perfect solution for your next outdoor event, DIY project or as emergency backup power when the ability to use multiple fuel types can mean the difference between light and dark.”
Hiu Designed To Work With Heat Networks
Designed to CIBSE Code of Practice guidelines, and with full WRAS and BESA approval, the Switch2 ICON heat interface unit (HIU) provides full connectivity for users of heat networks.
ICON is designed for modern heat networks and improves efficiency through tight control of return temperatures and demand management.
ICON tightens up tolerances to deliver lean, low temperature heat networks that are needed to reduce carbon, increase efficiency and provide consistently reliable heating across the full range of operational conditions.
A HIU is similar to a traditional individual gas boiler, but instead of transferring gas to heat into the heating system, it transfers heat from the plant room to the internal dwelling’s heating system. A connected HIU is an electronic version of this; taking advantage of falling technology and communications costs, a connected HIU allows the unit to be electronically controlled allowing for adjustments and maintenance to be carried out remotely. The connectivity enables monitoring to ensure corrective action is identified early. It offers multiple connectivity options, including GPRS, Ethernet, ModBus and MBus. ICON is essential to optimised designs and provides high-efficiency operation, along with bringing transparency and reducing the costs of operating heat networks.
Connected HIUs enable a proactive approach to maintenance with remote fixes through fault reporting, enabling first-class customer service.

700w High Performance Model Added To The Rq Series Of Battery Chargers Designed For A Whole Spectrum Of Outdoor Equipment
A new a 700W high-performance model thas been added to the Delta-Q Technologies’ range of RQ Series battery chargers. The new RQ700 is designed for a spectrum of outdoor power equipment and batterypowered system . Available in 24, 36 and 48 VDC versions, the RQ700 is described as a compact, fully sealed unit which features a 12 VDC, 400mA auxiliary power supply that operates system components. The new auxiliary power supply means that the charger can ‘wake up’ the battery management system after it has been powered download and power telematics systems, to ensure the battery is operational, reports Delta-Q.
“We designed the RQ700 to meet the evolving requirements of our OEM customers’ applications and growing production volumes. The RQ700’s simplicity, compact size and ease of on-board integration is a game-changer for high-volume OEMs seeking a cost-effective charging solution,” comments Lloyd Gomm, Vice President of Business Development and Marketing at Delta-Q Technologies,
Recently exhibited with the XV3300 charging system at the APEX show in The Netherlands, the new RQ700 is said to have a user-friendly design which includes installation cables and an onboard microprocessor . These supports the use of service and diagnostic tools and ensures precise charging even at a low state of charge The charger - the sister model to the RQ350 battery charging system - has three built-in LED lights that indicate charging status, errors, and faults, and a push button to select charge algorithms in the field or on customers’ production lines. delta-q.com
