Lacock Photography is an independent photography training school based in the historic Lacock village. It was established in 2010 and since then we have run thousands of successful courses and now offer over 20 different photography workshops.

Our most popular course is the Beginner’s Digital Photography (Part 1), which is taught by me, and runs several times every month. If you are thinking about taking up photography or improving your understanding of the basics, this one-day workshop is the perfect place to start. Let’s go over the key course details and what you can expect from this great day out!

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE

You don’t need any previous experience to come on the Beginner’s Digital Photography (Part 1). The course is suitable for everyone from complete beginners to those looking to brush up on the photography fundamentals. CAMERA EQUIPMENT

DSLR, mirrorless or bridge cameras are suitable for this workshop. If you’re holding off on investing in a camera, we can lend you one free of charge for the day!

COURSE FORMAT

The Beginner’s Digital Photography (Part 1) gives you all the photography knowledge and practical skills you need to improve the quality of your photographs. The day begins at 10am, kicking off with a classroombased tutorial before heading out for a photoshoot in the heart of Lacock. On returning from your village expedition, I will show you how to download and review your images in Photoshop Elements or Adobe Lightroom, concluding the workshop at around 4.30pm.

Class sizes are kept small so everyone enjoys a personalised learning experience

The Beginner’s Digital Photography (Part 1) is limited to six students. For us, small classes are an absolute must, ensuring every student enjoys a personalised learning experience, with plenty of time for questions and individual pointers.
