FOUNDATION of Wisconsin

These incredible Field Trips are offered by the Natural Resources Foundation of Wisconsin! We are a non-profit dedicated to conserving Wisconsin’s most cherished lands, waters, and wildlife. We also connect generations to Wisconsin’s natural wonders through our Field Trip program. COVID-19 may have slowed us down some, but we’re bouncing back this year by offering a modest line-up with safety guidelines in place to ensure that everyone’s health stays a priority. See page 4 for safety guideline details.

Tips for using our online registration system Cart-like experience

We use Active.com for our registration platform, which offers the benefit of securing trips as yours the moment you add them to your cart. Register online for Field Trips at WisConservation.org. The registration link will appear on April 1 at noon.

Find trips faster when you register online

Already know your Field Trip number? Find it faster in our online registration system by using the number index (on left of screen) or switching to the calendar view.

Birthdays required

You will be asked for your (and guests’) birthday during registration. If you don’t know an adult guest’s birthday, just enter 01/01/2000. Children should enter their real birthday (or something close to it).

Credit card on file

Please consider opting to keep your credit card number on file. This enables us to easily add you from a waiting list or make your requested trip changes.

Limit of 2 trips per person With reduced group sizes and fewer overall trips, spaces on Field Trips are very limited. To share the opportunity to attend, there is a limit of two trips per person for your initial registration from April 1—15. After April 15, you may register for additional Field Trips (beyond your initial two) as space allows. Wait-listed trips do NOT count toward your initial two-trip limit. We encourage you to register for waiting lists! We may open additional spaces on Field Trips should COVID-19 safety guidelines allow and will call from waiting lists to fill those spaces.

We continue to take a cautious approach as COVID-19 remains a dynamic situation even into this new year. We care about your health, and our policies reflect our desire to create a safe space for all Foundation members. Our upcoming Field Trip season will continue with similar guidelines as last year — see below for details. If safety guidelines change, we will adapt accordingly, canceling trips as necessary, or adding spaces on trips should the COVID-19 threat subside. If a trip is canceled due to COVID-19, your registration fees will be refunded upon request.

COVID-19 safety guidelines for our 2021 Field Trip season include: • Outdoor-only trips with small group sizes—current limits of 10-12 participants per trip. • Social distancing of 6' apart for leaders and participants of different households. • Face masks required during Field Trips. • No sharing of physical objects (pens, binoculars, spotting scopes, equipment, etc.) between participants of different households. • Do not attend a trip if you have a fever, other symptoms, or an active COVID-19 infection. Note: you will be asked to sign a COVID-19 waiver in addition to our general liability waiver at the start of the Field Trip. Due to the reduced season this year, there’s a limit of two trips per person for your initial registration from April 1—15. After April 15, you may register for additional Field Trips (beyond your initial two) as space allows. Wait-listed trips do NOT count toward your two-trip limit.
