Veteran Funding
As a thank you for your service to our country, the state of Wisconsin offers its own GI Bill, which remits the remaining tuition that your Post 9/11 GI Bill does not cover, resulting in 100% tuition coverage for most veterans if you have lived in Wisconsin for one year and enroll within three years of separating from the military. Qualified nonresident veterans who are eligible for 100% of the Post 9/11 GI Bill will receive in-state tuition rates. If nonresident veterans do not qualify because separation from active duty exceeds three years, a Yellow Ribbon waiver may be available for the difference between in-state and out-of-state tuition.
