Our prejudices, our weaknesses, our selfdeceptions, and our ignorance’s would manifest in many ways. But the work is the Lord’s, the cause is His; He never leaves His workman with out directions. "In every one of His children Jesus sends a letter to the world. If you are Christ's follower, He sends in you a letter to the family, the village, the street, where you live. Jesus, dwelling in you, desires to speak to the hearts of those who are not acquainted with Him. Perhaps they do not read the Bible, or do not hear the voice that speaks to them in its pages; they do not see the love of God through His works. But if you are a true representative of Jesus, it may be that through you they will be led to understand something of His goodness and be won to love and serve Him. SC p.115
If there were more prayer in the councils of those bearing responsibilities, more humbling of the heart toward God, we should see abundant evidence of divine leadership and our work would make rapid progress. 8T 238
The greatest want of the world is the want of men, men who will not be bought or sold; men who in their inmost souls are true and honest; men who do not fear to call sin by its right name; men whose conscience is as true to duty as the needle to the pole; men who will stand for the right though the heavens fall.
