REACHING OUT
“So how did we get here?” “A short list [of factors] would include lax lending standards, poor regulation, and greed.” “Too late, we realize the perils of debt and the virtues of spending less than you earn.”
A regular gym or game night is a great way to maintain the social life of the church during the long winter months. When held in a neutral location it’s a great way to have friends and neighbors get acquainted with church family.

This and other crises are causing many people to ask ‘is this a sign of the end of the world?’ The Bible tells us that in the last days a certain world power will use commerce to coerce people to abandon regard for the Word of God. This power will ultimately demand worship and allegiance from the inhabitants of the world; Revelation 13:17. What a desperate choice we will be faced with. Could we be approaching that time and if so what can we do to ensure our security? Read this tract to learn more.

GLOW For The Youth continued
GLOW For The Youth We recently received this story from Joshua Guerrero. Joshua is the son of David Guerrero who pastors the Stevens Point District in Wisconsin. Joshua Writes: “Over the years I have been involved with an organization in my community that helps elderly people with chores that they can no longer do for themselves. A few month ago, this organization called me and told me that there was a lady that needed her trash taken out
“During my second visit one of the first things she asked me was why there was so much sorrow in the world.
twice a week. At first I wasn't sure that I could do it, but after praying about it, I felt that I could and should fit it into my schedule.
I was able to explain a little to her, but she still wanted to know more. So I told her that the next time I came I would try to bring some material that might help. When I got home , I looked through our GLOW tracts to see if any of them talked about suffering.
During my first visit with her I was able to get to know a little bit about her. Before I went the next time I prayed that God would give me an opportunity to share Jesus with her.” Continued on page 3
I found one that did and I brought It back to her the next time I went to help her. She thanked me very much and promised to read it.
“The night is nearly spent. Satan is bringing in his masterly power because he knoweth that his time is short. The truth must not be muffled now. Plain statements must be made. Unvarnished truth must be spoken, in leaflets and pamphlets, and these must be scattered like the leaves of autumn.”-9T 230 2
During my next visit she told me that she appreciated the GLOW tract that I had given her and that it had really 3
encouraged her. To this day God is continuing to open the door for me to witness to her in this way. The GLOW tract opened the door for me to be able to discuss more about the Bible with her. This whole experience has helped me learn to recognize opportunities to share Christ with others. It has also taught me to always be prepared to share my faith with someone who might ask. I have also learned that GLOW tracts are an effective way to introduce others to Christ. It is not difficult. All you have to do is pass them out and let the seeds grow!”
